To be honest, I was just looking for something to do for fun. A simple game to pass my free time. Once, I came across a trailer with a skeleton lord then calling forth monsters, using magic, and leading a weird army. The name flashed: Lord of Nazarick.

I knew almost nothing about the anime series Overlord at that time. However, the music, characters and the overall feel really caught my eye.

I searched for this APP on the internet because it was not available on the Play Store. I didn’t even know whether the game would work on my device, but I took a chance.

My Gameplay Experience

I entered the game with no real expectations. Frankly I did not see much more than a standard RPG when I first played it. But it was the opening cutscene that had me from the beginning. Now, the music was haunting. The animations were sharp. Even the tutorials weren’t boring.

Therefore, fighting occurs in turns, but it is brisk. I tried out various characters, failed a lot, but kept playing. That’s what made it fun. I remember acquiring Albedo in my squad on Day 2. She was designed to be a demon queen – poised and absolutely deadly. Albedo was very effective when combined with tanks and support positions.

In addition, the upgrade system is simple. It is not necessary for you to spend hours learning how to improve your team. The game also loaded up very fast, which was a great advantage. No lag smooth controls. Clear visuals. Now, my mid range Android did not slow it down at all everything went smoothly.

Even deeply i have played numerous anime-inspired games, this one is unique from the others. The game calm full of strategy, and rather on the dark side, but it never drags or becomes dull. Although the design honors the anime, it is unique and spectacular as a game by itself. Then those who like building teams or playing tactical strategy games will probably find this game as addictive as I did. Whether you’ve never heard of Ainz Ooal Gown or the Tomb of Nazarick, the game has plenty.

Yes if you’re into the games that have narratives and strategic gameplay. When I have nothing else to do or a long travel time, I catch up by experimenting with various team builds.
